About the Journal

Globalis: Journal of Global and Regional Politics is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published biannually by Publion Research. The journal publishes original research articles and critical review essays on international relations, diplomacy, global governance, foreign policy, regional politics, international political economy, and security studies — with a particular focus on perspectives from and about the Global South.

Globalis seeks to promote critical scholarly engagement with contemporary political and transnational issues by centering voices, cases, and theories often underrepresented in Global North-dominated academic discourse. We particularly welcome interdisciplinary and theory-driven empirical works that explore South–South cooperation, postcolonial international relations, regionalism, and soft power strategies in emerging regions.

All articles published in Globalis are open access under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), allowing anyone to read, share, and adapt the content for non-commercial purposes with proper attribution. Authors retain full copyright over their published work.

The journal is fully supported by Publion Research and does not charge any article submission or processing fees (APC-free). Globalis is digitally preserved in the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS archival systems to ensure secure, long-term access.

Globalis adheres to a double-blind peer-review process and follows best practices in scholarly publishing ethics in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) standards.
