Plagiarism Policy

Elevate is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and originality in all published works. To uphold these principles, all manuscripts submitted to the journal are subject to plagiarism screening prior to the peer review process.

Manuscripts are checked using Turnitin or other reliable similarity detection software to assess their originality. The journal enforces a strict maximum similarity index of 25%. Submissions exceeding this threshold will be automatically rejected or returned to the author for revision, regardless of the stage of the editorial process.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are original and properly cite all sources, quotations, paraphrased content, and previously published materials. This includes avoiding all forms of plagiarism, such as:

  • Direct plagiarism (copying text verbatim without quotation or attribution)

  • Self-plagiarism (reusing substantial parts of the author's own previously published work without acknowledgment or citation)

  • Mosaic plagiarism (borrowing phrases and ideas without proper citation, even if rewritten)

  • Inadequate paraphrasing (changing only a few words from the source while retaining its structure or argument)

In the event that plagiarism is detected at any point—before or after publication—the editorial board reserves the right to reject, retract, or correct the article as appropriate. Severe cases may be reported to the authors’ affiliated institutions or funding bodies.

Authors are strongly advised to pre-screen their manuscripts using similarity tools and conduct thorough citation checks before submission. Proper academic writing practices and transparency in source acknowledgment are essential for the credibility of both the journal and its contributors.

By submitting a manuscript to Publion Research, authors affirm that their work is entirely original, has not been submitted elsewhere, and complies with the journal’s plagiarism policy.
